The Battle of Normandy Memorial Museum is located in Bayeux, Normandy, approximately 30km northwest of Caen and 260km from Paris. By car, Bayeux is accessible via motorway A13 onto the A84 and then the N13. By train from Paris’s St Lazare station, get the line towards Cherbourg and alight at Bayeux (2hrs). From Caen, Bus Verts goes to Bayeux.

The Battle of Normandy Memorial Museum is open daily except on 25-26 December, 1 January and the last two weeks of January. Admission costs €6.50 for adults, €3.80 for children.

The Battle Of Normandy was fought during world war 2 in the summer of 1944, between the Allied nations and German forces occupying Western Europe. The Battle was fought in the following phases, Operation overlord, The Invasion of Normandy or operation Neptune, Normandy Landings, Operation Cobre.
