Uploading an historic site onto Historvius is quick and easy. To start, click the “upload historic site” button on the homepage or the "upload" button in the top navigation and follow these four simple steps:
The only required information is the site’s name, the country it’s in, a short blurb summarising the site and a further, more detailed description of it. Just tell us as much as you know about the site’s history and what it’s like to visit it.
With Historvius, you can give as much information as you want about historic sites, including its period, relevant historic figure, historic period, directions, entry information and more. This information isn’t required to upload a site, but it’s definitely welcome.

If you find that we’re missing anything, such as an historical figure or a particular resort, just let us known using the “additional information” box under the “add additional information tab”.
When you’ve entered all the information you want, click the “submit” button at the bottom of the page and you’re done. Once it’s been looked at by one of us here at Historvius, your entry could find its way onto the map!
