Lapidaire Museum (Musee Lapidaire) is an archaeological museum in Narbonne, southern France which contains around 1,300 Ancient Roman exhibits.

From ancient wall fragments to tomb remains and Roman gravestones, Musee Lapidaire’s impressive displays showcase Narbonne’s Gallo-Roman history.

Lapidaire Museum is housed in the gothic church of Eglise Notre-Dame.

Directions:
Lapidaire Museum is located in Narbonne, France on Place Lamourguié off Blvd du Dr Ferroul. Narbonne is located around 100km southwest of Montpellier and 150km southeast of Toulouse. From Paris, a train journey to Narbonne takes 4.5 hours. From Toulouse by train, the journey takes 1-2 hours and from Montpellier, it takes around an hour.

Ticket Information:
May-Sept, Lapidaire Museum is open from 10am-6pm (closed noon-2pm), closed Tuesdays. Oct-Dec, open from 10am-5pm (closed noon-2pm), closed Tuesdays. Closed on 1 Jan, 1 May, 1 Nov, 11 Nov and 25 Dec. Entry costs around €4.
