This page lets you build your own itinerary for your holiday. As you explore historic sites on Historvius you can shortlist those places you want to visit. Click here to view our video guide.

Build Your Trip

Once you've shortlisted sites, this page lets you organise them into your own itinerary. Just select the length of your trip, drag and drop the sites into each day and then click on the generate button at the bottom of the page – you'll get your own free pocket guidebook to print and take with you on your travels.

Find Your Perfect Hotel

When you've shortlisted sites you want to visit, click on the hotels tab to find the perfect hotel for your trip. You'll be able to view all your chosen historic sites on a map and then search for hotels that are perfectly positioned to visit them. Once you've found that ideal base, you can book swiftly and easily with Expedia, the world's largest online travel company. Click here for our video guide.

Discover an Ideal Tour

Know the sites you want to visit but not sure how to get there? Take the hassle out of your travels by booking tours to take you to amazing historic sites across the globe. Use the filter options below to find interesting tours and book easily and simply from the comfort of your computer.

Itinerary Planner

Shortlist sites as you go by clicking on the + sign next to a site name on a search results page or on the “add to shortlist” link on a site page. On the planner page, set your preferences - name your trip, select the number of days you want and choose the types of documents you want to print and save.

Then, drag and drop sites from your shortlist to the days on your itinerary. You can use the map to see how near or far sites are from each other and look at each day individually. Write any day or trip notes and, when you’re finished, click “generate itinerary” at the bottom of the page. You can even review your itinerary later by pasting your custom URL into any browser.
